Burns Harbor, a small community located in Northwest Indiana, developed around its largest employer, Bethlehem Steel, in the mid-1960s. The location of the Burns Harbor facility allows for access to many of the surrounding communities in Northwest Indiana such as Chesterton, Valparaiso, Michigan City, and LaPorte.
